Olen kierrellyt ja kaarrellut PFS:n pelejä ja kokeilin niitä Ropeconissa pari vuotta. Joka kerta ajattelin "tähän voisi lähteä mukaan" ja sitten meni vuosi ja tuli seuraava coni. Sain lopulta hilattua pyrstöni peleihin myös conien ulkopuolelle, eikä sitä vielä kukaan ole potkinut pois.

Olen pelannut kauan, mutta hiukan urautunut tiettyihin käytäntöihin ja asioihin. PFS:ssä olen nyyppäri. Olen kauhea optimoimaan. Ja tarkoitan siis, etten osaa sitä pätkääkään. Mikä saattaa tulla selväksi kun katselee seuraavaa pösilöriviä (jotka lisätään kun ehditään).

PFS
1. Taresh Mel - Varisialainen rogue/transmuter joka on olemassa koska multiclassaamisen synti on minussa vahva.
2. Taminger Vaul - ammattia vaihtamassa oleva kääpiö, jota on kahdessa skenussa rääkätty henkisesti ja fyysisesti.
3. Taieraie - Itämailta tullut kitsune-spiritualisti joka adoptoi tahtomattaan aaveen ja yrittää paimentaa sitä kotiin/pois.
4. Xen Unoda - Elementtien Harmonian riveihin päätynyt untuvikko.
5. RIP, sinä urhea pregen-rimpula.
6. Telos Lankar - Kyläilemässä modulissa.
7. Thansan - Dark Archiven kokelas (GM blob vielä).

SFS
1. Avor Stelek - Akitonista värvätty leuka edellä menevä lääkäri, joka uskoo olevansa soturitiedemies.
2. Serogen - Triaxus on täynnä lohikäärmeitä, mennään muualle.
3. Kordath - Kääpiömöykky.

Kokeilen pitää kaksi postia per hahmo (yksi SFS:lle, joiden statit ovat yleensä lyhyempiä). Yhden fluffille ja stateille ja toisen varusteille. Sitten kokeilemaan miten lauta toimii.

Taresh Meladronain elämä varisialaisena vaeltajana otti pienen sivuaskeleen kun hän nuorena sairastui hieman ennen karavaanin saapumista kaupunkiin. Koska sairaiden tuominen olisi voinut vaikeuttaa sisäänpääsyä, perhe laittoi hänet toisen vaeltajaryhmän mukaan ja lupasi poimia tämän kyytiin myöhemmin. Tämä toinen vaeltaja ryhmä hoivasi häntä, mutta joutui antamaan hänet kolmannelle saatuaan tilaisuuden josta ei voinut kieltäytyä. Sen jälkeen Taresh vaihtoi kaitsijaa vielä pari kertaa kunnes päätyi jostain syystä pieneen gnome-kylään.

Maahisten mielestä oli kädettömän hauskaa että poikaa oli vaihdettu kuin varastettuja kalleuksia kädestä toiseen, ja ne päättivät lähteä mukaan touhuun. Kaukaisessa metsässä pohjoisessa Tian Xiassa asui kettu jonka piti kasvaa papiksi tai muuksi sielunpaimeneksi. Koska kenttäkoulutus on luonnonhelmassa viihtyvien veitikoiden mielestä mielenkiintoisempaa kuin pelkkä luostarissa meditointi, pentu oli mukana vanhempien pappien mukana näiden kierrellessä pitkin maita saattamassa lepoon levottomia sieluja ja liian polleiksi alkaneita hobgoblineita ja muita ökkiäisiä. Yksi näistä tehtävistä johdatti papit syvään luolaan josta irtoavat pahat tuntemukset saivat nämä aloittamaan manauksen. Sen piti saattaa paikalleen jääneet levottomat sielut viimeiselle matkalleen kohti Pharasman tuomiota, mutta jokin meni pieleen. Oliko nuori Taieraie huolimaton, vai liian empaattinen, vai liian piittaamaton, vai oliko kaikki pelkkää sattumaa, lopputulos oli sama. Hengistä voimakkain kääntyi takaisin jo aloitettuaan matkansa, ja liimautui kiinni pappisoppilaan mieleen.

Muut manaajat tutkivat ja tökkivät sekä henkeä että sen uutta omistajaa pari päivää ja kohauttivat olkiaan: Karma. Opi elämään uuden kaverisi kanssa tai tee asialle jotain. Siihen jäivät pappisopinnot; keskittymisestä niihin ei tullut mitään kun päässä koheltaa vieras mieli joka tiesi kuolleensa traagisesti jossain maan uumenissa, muttei ihan uskonut sitä. Taieraie myös tajusi, että henki ei tiedä tarkkaan kuka oli. Sen ainoat mielikuvat olivat valtavan kaupungin keskellä kohoava pilviä hipova rakennus, huoli tovereistaan, ja tarve liikkua paikasta toiseen. Neuvonpidon jälkeen todettiin hengen luultavasti olevan Tiennäyttäjä, kaukaa lännestä tullut utelias muukalainen. Jos Taieraie haluaisi hengen ulos kallostaan ja kohti lopullista matkaansa, olisi ehkä viisasta ottaa selvää kuka se oli ollut. Joten Taieraie lähti länteen.

Haastatteluprosessi oli outo, jopa Kreighton Shanen mittapuiden mukaan, koska puoliin kysymyksiin vastasi kettu ja toisiin henki. Lopulta haltia nosti kätensä pystyyn, värväsi Taieraien kokeellisesti järjestöön jotta henki saataisiin pysymään tyytyväisempänä ja muilla olisi aikaa tutkia kuka tämä oli ollut. Ajoittain aave paljastaa jotain uutta itsestään, ja hetken toivo elää sen saattamisesta lepoon. Mutta toistaiseksi se on nauttinut liikaa olostaan lähteäkseen.

Avor Stelek (SFS)

Avor Stelek on ylpeä Akitonin poika vuosimallia 277. Hän kasvoi lähellä kaupunkivaltiota nimeltä Xenon, ja koki melko tavallisen akitonilaisen lapsuuden; piileskeli rosvojoukoilta ja turhan uteliailta pedoilta, ratsasti kauppakaravaanien kanssa suurempiin kaupunkeihin ja takaisin, ammuskeli ryöstelevää shobhad-joukkoja päivällä ja kävi kauppaa toisen shobhad-joukon kanssa illalla. Akitonilaiseksi Avor oli aika roteva ja siksi pollea. Lopulta yhtenä päivänä shobhadit ampuivat kovempaa ja karavaani hajaantui paetakseen. Nuori Avor huomasi olevansa jalan erämaassa muutaman muun eloonjääneen kanssa. Lyhyen arvovaltakiistan jälkeen hän otti joukon hallintaansa ja lähti johdattamaan sitä kohti turvaa. Puolet kulkijoista pääsi elossa perille, ja Avor tajusi näidenkin olevan elossa lähinnä koska eräs mukana ollut muukalainen oli hienovaraisesti ohjaillut Avoria ja korjannut tämän tekemiä virheitä. Nöyryytetty Avor suuttui, haastoi vieraan ja sai tältä köniinsä, mutta sai myös odottamattoman tarjouksen. ”Tule mukaan, ja opetan sinua. Olet nuori ja hölmö, mutta peloton ja sitkeä. Järjestöllä olisi käyttöä sinulle jos suostut oppimaan.” Ja niin Avor Stelek vuonna 300 lähti Akitonilta ja aloitti opinnot liittyäkseen Tähdenlöytäjien järjestöön.

Avorilta vei vuosia aikaa koulia ruumiinsa toimimaan taas siedettävällä tavalla Absalomin kolminkertaisessa painovoimassa, mutta hän kieltäytyi jääräpäisesti kyberneettisistä istutteista tai voimahaarniskoista. Hän kehitti myös mieltään. Kiehtovinta oli lääketiede, ja Avor palveli lääkärinä ja kenttätutkijana Liittomaailmojen alueella laajentaakseen maailmankuvaansa. Tämä viivytti hänen muodollista liitymistään Järjestöön. Hänet oli alustavasti merkitty yhden Kulotähdille lähteneen aluksen miehistöön, mutta aikaisempi tehtävä Castrovelissa meni pieleen, ja pahasti haavoittunut ryhmä juuttui planeetalle lähes kahdeksisadaksi päiväksi ja myöhästyi lähdöstä. Avor Stelekin näkökulmasta Luwazi Elsebo oli päävastuussa Järjestön koossapitämisestä, ja hän päätti tukea tätä kaikin keinoin, etenkin kun ymmärsi tämän halun pelastaa kadonneet jäsenet, mukaanlukien Stelekin värvääjän.

Avorilla on järjestön sisällä mainetta lähinnä kenttälääkärinä ja järjestelijänä, mutta Absalomin Asemalla hän sai mainetta toisesta syystä. Avor Stelek on ryhdikäs ja pitkä punaihoinen mies jota hyväntahtoinen voisi kuvailla enemmän jänteväksi kuin laihaksi. Hänellä on suippo parta, pitkät kapeat viikset, ja lyhyeksi leikatut suorat mustat hiukset. Haarniskansa päällä hän kantaa perinteisiä Akitonilaisia taisteluhihnoja joista roikkuu aseiden lisäksi lääkintälaukku. Yleensä hän huutelee muille Akitonilaisia höperöyksiä, mutta joutuu ajoittain tekemään jotain itsekin. Avaruusaluksissa hän on tähän asti istunut visusti tiedeupseerin pallilla, mutta joutui hiljattain lentämään tiiliskivellä. On kunnia joutua Aamutähden huudon kohteeksi, ja kyseisessä tapauksessa se oli lähes ainoa tapa pärjätä.
